BlackJack AU · Terms of use · Effective 30 October 2026
Terms of Use and Disclaimer
Reading BlackJack AU means accepting the terms below. They are short because the site does one thing: it publishes information about online casinos and table games for adults in Australia. It does not operate a casino, hold funds or place bets.
1. Information, not advice
Everything on the site, rankings, ratings, reviews, rules, strategy charts and FAQ answers, is published for information and entertainment. It is not financial, legal or professional advice, and it is not a recommendation that any reader should gamble. House edge and return figures describe the mathematics of a game over the long run; they say nothing about the result of any session, and no system or strategy described on the site changes the fact that casino games lose money over time.
2. Accuracy and changes
Facts about casinos, table counts, limits, studios, bonuses, banking methods and withdrawal times, are recorded at the time of testing and shown with the date of the last update. Casinos change them without notice. The site makes reasonable efforts to keep pages current and corrects errors when reported, but does not warrant that any figure is accurate at the moment a reader relies on it. The casino's own terms and conditions prevail over anything written here.
3. Affiliate commissions
The site is free to read and is funded by commissions paid by casinos when a reader opens an account through a link on the site. Those links are marked as sponsored and open in a new tab. The commission does not set the order of a ranking or the rating of a casino; the editorial method is published on the how we rank page. A reader pays nothing extra for using an affiliate link.
4. Age and location
The site is for readers aged 18 and over. Underage gambling is illegal in Australia and the site does not knowingly publish for, or collect information from, anyone under 18. Readers are responsible for confirming that online casino play is permitted where they are: rules differ between countries, and some casinos exclude some jurisdictions in their own terms.
5. The legal position in Australia
The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth) prohibits operators from providing or advertising online casino games to people in Australia and is enforced against operators by the Australian Communications and Media Authority. It contains no offence for a person in Australia who plays. The casinos listed on the site are licensed outside Australia and operate outside Australia; the site does not describe any online casino as licensed in Australia, because none is. Readers who want the position in their own circumstances confirmed should take legal advice.
6. Third-party sites
Links lead to casinos, payment providers, help services and other sites that the site does not control. Their content, terms, privacy practices and availability are their own responsibility. Any dispute about an account, a deposit, a withdrawal or a bonus is between the reader and the casino and is handled under the casino's terms and its licence holder's complaints process.
7. No liability
To the extent permitted by law, the site and its author accept no liability for any loss, including gambling losses, lost deposits, bonus forfeits, data charges, or any indirect or consequential loss, arising from use of the site or reliance on anything published on it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Intellectual property
Text, tables, diagrams and code on the site are the property of BlackJack AU unless stated otherwise. A reader may quote short extracts with a link to the source page. Casino names and logos belong to their owners and are used to identify the casinos reviewed.
9. Responsible gambling
Gambling can become a problem. The responsible gambling page explains the deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion available at every casino listed, and Gambling Help Online offers free, confidential support 24 hours a day on 1800 858 858.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms are dated at the top and replaced in full when they change. Continued use of the site after a change means acceptance of the new version. Questions go to the contact page.
