Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

The site is operated by BlackJack AU, referred to as “the site” below. Questions about this policy go to [email protected] with “Privacy” in the subject line, or through the contact page. The site is published for readers in Australia and handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), to the extent they apply, and with the privacy laws of any other jurisdiction a reader is in.

2. Information collected automatically

When a page is loaded, the web server records the request in a standard access log: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, browser type and operating system. The log is used to keep the site running, to detect abuse and to count visits. It is not combined with any other data to identify a reader and is deleted on a rolling basis after no more than 90 days.

3. Cookies and local storage

The site sets no cookies of its own. It uses the browser's session storage for one purpose: remembering that a reader has closed the mobile “Play” bar so that it stays closed for that visit. Session storage is cleared when the tab is closed and never leaves the device.

If analytics is enabled on the site, it will be a privacy-focused service that records page views without cookies and without storing IP addresses, and this section will be updated to name it. Third-party fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; Google receives the request for the font file and the reader's IP address in the process, under Google's own privacy policy.

4. Casino links and affiliate tracking

Links to casinos are affiliate links. A click passes through the site's redirect page, which records the casino chosen and a click identifier so that the casino can attribute a resulting sign-up to this site and pay a commission. The redirect does not record a name, email address or any account detail, and the site never sees what a reader does at the casino. From the moment the casino's page loads, the casino's own privacy policy applies, and it is the casino, not this site, that collects identity documents and payment details.

5. Information readers send

Emails to the contact address are kept for as long as needed to answer them and to keep a record of corrections made to the site, then deleted within 24 months. Screenshots of casino lobbies sent with a correction are used only to verify the facts and are not published. The site has no newsletter and sends no marketing email.

6. Sharing

Personal information is not sold, rented or traded. It is shared only with the hosting provider that stores the server logs, under its own obligations of confidentiality, and where a law, court order or regulator requires disclosure. Casinos receive a click identifier through the affiliate link as described in section 4 and nothing else.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS with HTTP Strict Transport Security, and the server sends the standard security headers. Access to the server and the contact inbox is restricted to the people who run the site. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and the site cannot guarantee the security of information in transit.

8. Your rights

A reader can ask what personal information the site holds about them, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain about how it has been handled. Requests go to [email protected] and are answered within 30 days. Because the site holds almost no personal information, most requests are answered by confirming that nothing is held beyond a server log entry that cannot be tied to a person. Readers in Australia who are not satisfied with the response can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

9. Age

The site is written for adults aged 18 and over and does not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. An email from a person under 18 is deleted on receipt.

10. Third-party sites

This policy covers healingpieces.art only. Casinos, payment providers, help services and any other site linked from these pages have their own policies, and the site is not responsible for their content or practices.

11. Changes

This policy is dated at the top and replaced in full when it changes. Material changes, such as the introduction of analytics or a newsletter, are noted in the first paragraph of the new version for at least 30 days.
